Blue Ridge Pride LGBTQ Story Slam

September 27 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

- Free

A Community is Shaped by the Stories it Shares

Blue Ridge Pride and the WNC LGBTQ Oral History Project are pleased to introduce an evening of personal storytelling that will inspire and challenge. Both local and nationally recognized storytellers will share pivotal moments in their lives when confronting their own or a loved one’s true nature. “You are not alone” is a key takeaway from this magical evening.
The event is free, with seating on a first-come, first-serve basis. The microphone turns on at 7:30 pm.

Master of Ceremonies: Mike Cooper, Blue Ridge Public Radio
Featured Storytellers: Roland Wise (Asheville Moth Champion), Amy Smith, Jamie Trowbridge, Allan Barger, Jan Cope, Stephen Shell

Do you have a story to share? Contact Ron Curran ([email protected]).
