WNC Trans+ Pride
Protest for Trans rights

By trans+ folks,

For trans+ folks.

Thank you to everyone involved for making WNC Trans+ Pride 2025 an unforgettable experience full of love and joy for our community. In this moment where bigotry and institutional violence beset our community and its intersections at home and abroad, it is vital we stand together and celebrate our resilience—trans+ people have always existed and always will. We will keep fighting for trans+ rights and liberation for all, but we will also keep celebrating, laughing, dancing, creating, and sharing our joy, because no amount of hate can stop us.

We will not be pushed out, brought down, silenced, or erased! Trans+ pride and trans+ liberation, now and forever!

Trans+ social connection

trans+ folks need safe spaces to connect with other folks with shared identities and experiences- especially trans+ youth in this moment of increased discrimination and infringement upon self-expression. Representation matters! And seeing trans+ folks of all ages in their beauty and expansiveness is so important for youth- and all people- to feel as though they belong and are deserving of care, community, and safety.
