Learn about how to support trans youth in your region from LGBTQIA+ Youth and family service providers including Youth OUTright WNC, Asheville PFLAG, Campaign for Southern Equality's Trans Youth Emergency Project and Campaign for Southern Equality's Supportive School Programs.

2pm | Q&A with Lavender Root Legal

Madison Root (they/she) is a passionate, Queer family law attorney who caters to Queer and nontraditional families experiencing times of transition. Attorney Root Originally from South Texas and is passionate about helping families in legal need. She was granted the 2024 Distinguished Young Lawyer Award by the Buncombe County Bar and is the President of Blue Ridge Pride.
