Pride 5k
Join us for our first annual Pride 5k at Carrier Park. Race-enthusiasts and meanderers welcome! For those who like a little competition, age category winners will compete in 3 gender categories. Individuals are encouraged to choose the gender category which best fits them. LGBTQ+ fitness orgs, businesses and groups will vend so that you will know where family works out! Event to include coffee truck, snacks, water, DJ and Blue Ridge Pride speakers.

Pride Paddle
Asheville Canoe House is hosting a one-of-a-kind river experience fundraiser for Blue Ridge Pride. Come dressed in your best Pride gear, hop on a boat (the canoes will fill up fast, after that you’ll need to BYOB (bring your own boat). Our very own Miss Blue Ridge Pride Alexis Black will entertain…on the river! A can’t miss event. Meet at 9am at Craven Street Bridge Access, 192 Riverside Drive, Asheville, NC 28801, for transport to put-in at Hominy Creek River Park, 220 Hominy Creek River Park, Asheville, NC 28806 (arrival 10am). Paddling will begin at 11am and take out will be Craven Street Bridge Access at approximately 3pm.

Queer Health Fair
Come meet regional queer-owned and allied health and mental health vendors. The 25 free vendor spots are mostly full, but if you are a queer-owned healthcare business interested in vending, please contact us.

Family Friendly Pride Picnic
Bring your littles, better half, or just yourself to our Family Friendly Pride Picnic! The picnic includes free lunch, Drag StoryHour with Beer City Sisters, interactive music with The Family Music Class, crafting, and maybe even an impromptu kickball game :) This is an alcohol free event. Lunch provided on a first come/first serve basis.

Stonewall Gala
We’re going all in this year for Pride, and hosting our first annual gala. Catered by LGBTQIA+ owned Verbena, with New Belgium beer, Ginger’s Revenge, and Devil’s Foot non-alcoholic drinks and wine, a silent auction, and updates from Blue Ridge Pride, this event promises to raise the bar for our community. Headlining the evening will be Mandy Carter, co-founder of SONG (Southerners on New Ground) and the National Black Justice Coalition. Miss Blue Ridge Pride, Alexis Black will perform with her dan,ers and VIP guests get a special treat with local queer folk act Moonrise Holler to entertain while meeting with Mandy.
